Adding metal powder to polymers is primarily to alter the polymer's appearance or physical properties. The growth in the automotive industry and related fields' demand for lightweight, high-performance parts has led to an increase in the use of polymer-based composites. Many of these composites contain metal powders to give them the same metallic appearance as the parts they replace.
The micron-sized stainless steel powder produce by us can be filled into plastics by customers according to their final uses to form various shapes and sizes. The physical properties and functions of the affected polymers include conductivity, thermal conductivity, electromagnetic shielding, anti-static surface, corrosion resistance and wear resistance.
Among these composite materials, the application of polytetrafluoroethylene filled with stainless steel powder as a sealing material is the most extensive. It has gained a good reputation in practical applications. The use of snowflake micron-sized stainless steel powder for filling makes it have the characteristics of a more delicate microstructure and superior holding performance.
